A superb organ recital at our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, an elegant and elaborate High Tea on the premises, and a guided tour of the Cathedral with its art work and paintings (which will turn out to be not paintings at all).
Before visiting the Cathedral, a short stop to admire the ultra modern structure of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Following the Cathedral, 1/3 of a mile away, a visit to the LA Public Library with its regal Egyptian architecture, its Children Story Theatre, and its gardens.
